Restcalc is a free educational sleep tool. This policy explains what data we handle and how. The short version: we do not collect or upload your data.

1. We do not collect or upload your data

Every calculation on Restcalc runs entirely inside your own browser. We never receive, store, or transmit your inputs — bedtimes, wake times, age group, or sleep-log entries. There is no account and no server-side profile of you.

2. Sleep-log storage

If you use the Sleep Log tool, your entries are saved only in your own browser using localStorage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us or any server. Clearing your browser data (or using private/incognito mode) removes them immediately.

3. Cookies and third parties

We do not set our own tracking cookies. However, this site may display Google AdSense advertisements and Amazon affiliate links. Those third parties may set their own cookies — for example, to personalize ads or attribute affiliate sales — when you interact with them. You can manage cookies through your browser settings at any time.

4. Affiliate disclosure

Restcalc is a participant in the Amazon Associates program, an affiliate advertising program. If you click an Amazon link and make a qualifying purchase, Amazon may set a cookie and we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.

5. Children

Restcalc is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

6. Your choices

Because we store nothing on our side, there is no account to delete. To remove your local sleep-log data, clear your browser's storage for this site.
